Honoring the Mystery
As humans in this time, we are conditioned to grasp, plan, structure and rely heavily upon rigidity and analytical thinking. We are trained to covet answers. While these qualities serve a purpose at times, such structure can hold us back from experiencing true richness in our lives.
When we live rigidly, we restrict ourselves energetically. We inadvertently erect blocks to flow in our day and diminish our magnetism towards our highest and best timeline. Too many heavy expectations lead to unnecessary suffering and drain us of our life force energy. Too much searching and calculating keeps us trapped in the mental realm, and thereby does not allow us space to connect with the deep wisdom of our emotions, our body and our intuitive abilities.
When we are caught in the throws of societal pressure and self-imposed expectations, it is easy to lose sight of the magic that exists in honoring the mystery.
What does it mean to honor the mystery?
When we live in the mystery, we are by no means stagnant, numb or lacking in emotion. On the contrary, living in the mystery gifts us with expansive allowance for what is to come. Living in such a state allows us that child-like quality of anticipation and wonder…. so potent when combined with a deep-seeded knowing that we are capable of handling with grace whatever may arise.
Honoring the Mystery Means:
Seeking expansion rather than certainty
Welcoming the outdated versions of ourselves to be burnt down and invited to rise again, an allowance of the constant process of rebirth and revision
Calling the future into our now in a way that makes our heart flutter with anticipatory excitement
Releasing attachment to being “right” and resistance to being “wrong” by simultaneously playing the roles of both an observer and an active participant in each moment
Embodying unshakeable faith that in every now moment, we are wholly capable in our own right and supported by the Divine
Holding an innate knowing that true strength lives in flow
“Allow the Mystery to arrive as it will, and embrace the joy of the unfolding to come”
